The Lanikai Lanikai beach, on the north-west side of Oahu, was my primary ocean playground as a child. We were always making sand-fortresses, kayaking to the tiny, off-shore islands, or floating with turtles. Truly our little town's best kept secret.

Today we commemerate these efforts through our practice of native hobbies, such as surfing. In this way, each of us has the opportunity to be a warrior fighting for Hawaiian culture.

The North Shore Nestled far away from hustle-and-bustle, this is the place of surfing dreams, with both massive waves and possible competitive glory. Deeply-slanted white beaches pull the water back home to the depths of the pacific. But it is shortly sent back in gigantic waves. A symphony of power and beauty.
